I am a Technical Manager in Alcatel-Lucent Network Operations Division (NOD) business unit working in the Managed Services organization, within the Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). I have responsibility for the GNOC IT and R&D teams. Previously I coached the Services Architecture Research & Development Team. My team was responsible for the design and development of tools and applications used within the Alcatel-Lucent Technical Assistance Centers (TAC). I was formerly a member of the Network & Service Management Research Department, which is part of the Systems & Software Research Center at the Communications Sciences Research Division in Bell Laboratories.

These interests are not necessarily listed in order of importance. I've been with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and or Alcatel-Lucent since February of 1988. I have a patent with the US Patent & Trademark Office on an algorithm for “Managing Multiple Private Data Networks Using Network And Payload Address Translation” (#6581108).

I am married and have two girls, Ashley (15 years old), and Shelby (age 13). I am an avid Technical SCUBA diver, and Martial Arts Instructor. My wife and I also have many Pets, including three dogs and three horses. We breed reticulated pythons.

I graduated from Arundel Institute of Technology where I studied Computer & Communications Engineering. I then studied Mathematics at University of Maryland, before going on and getting a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Information Science, and then a Master of Science degree in Computer & Information Science.
